Gabrielle is an associate and practising attorney, admitted to the High Court of South Africa, and a qualified patent attorney, registered with the Companies and Intellectual Property Commission (CIPC). She is also a Fellow of the South African Institute of Intellectual Property Law (SAIIPL).

She joined Berdou Attorneys in February 2019. Coupled with her qualifications and technical expertise in architecture, her interest in intellectual property law culminated in her enrolment of an LL.B degree and her further qualification as a patent attorney.
